Austrian musician Ro Bergman has just released his New Horizon EP via his own imprint. The EP, produced by Niko Stoessl was premiered via Atwood Magazine. Prior to releasing the EP, Ro Bergman teased his listeners with releases of ‘Clouds’ and ‘Horizon’.
In an interview with The Good, The Bad, The Indie, Ro Bergmans inspiration for songwriting was explored. “Honestly, I am inspired by almost everything that surrounds me. Most of the time I have a starting line or a word and then I start to build the song around this theme or feeling. Sometimes a new instrument or new surroundings inspire me a lot.” You can read the full interview below.
When speaking of the EP, the indie-rock songwriter shares “I took time for myself to create my debut EP. New Horizon is about taking chances, about accepting change and about being courageous enough to trust and follow your own intuition. Every song is sort of friend, a part of my diary, a baby and a document of a period and specific feeling of my life.” Seeing each song as a friend shares new light for the listener and brings forth a personal element to the newest of fans.
